He’s here now. We’ve made it. It was by far the hardest thing I have ever done, emotionally and physically.

My father had very conservative views, and it took a while before I stopped feeling ashamed of my own left wingishness.
After studying the different political ideologies I can now honestly say that my views are most like the ones of “new liberalism”, but I have yet to find out why and how I support this.

I will be induced either Friday or early next week, but since I really want to deliver baby without this I hope that the intensified contractions that I am having will develop into “the real thing” as soon as possible.
Our baby is like his father, always late.
Well, anyway, we went for a checkup Friday and everything was alright except for a small amount of protein in my urine. This in combination with swollen hands and legs made my doctor worried and wanted me to come back Monday, which I did. Our baby decided to get fixated over the weekend, and that was good, but there was even more protein and I was sent to see the specialists at the hospital.
They took blood samples looking for toxins (in case of renal failure), I had an ultrasound and a CTG. Everything was just fine, but they wanted me to come back tomorrow for more tests. I’m happy that our health care is this thorough, but I know there is nothing wrong with us and I also know that our baby will come, in time.
I’m growing anxious now though, I don’t like this waiting, and how I listen in for just the slightest little start sign.
